Grandpa passed away

My grandfather has died today. He was 103. Born more than a century ago. Once he told that he saw three ages. I thought: what could those ages be? One, the Ottoman era, two, the Republican period, but what could be the third one? He went on: “One, the time of kindling glass, two, the time of oil lamp, and three, the time of electricity.” He lived a good life, I think.
